I smelled something for days. Couldn’t place it, didn’t think much of it, and it never occurred to me to call anyone — because what would I even be calling about? A smell?
Then I opened the storage room door. The doorbell chime was melting off the wall with fire coming out of it.
Here’s the part that matters: people don’t wait because they’re careless. They wait because they don’t know what it’s going to cost to find out, and nobody’s paying an eighty-five dollar trip charge to be told it’s nothing.
So we don’t charge one. Ever. If you smell something and you can’t place it, call us. If it turns out to be nothing, that’s the best outcome and it costs you nothing.
